A CHILD, A PROMISE FOR A FUTURE
A little boy, with big black eyes and emaciated features was drawing on the floor. His sketch was surprisingly mature, the colours strong and warm, the shapes so special. It was in 2003 in a Palestinian refugee camps. « If you work well and if you keep on drawing I shall take your for a trip! » Bewilderment and joy suddenly lit his face, but quickly his eyes dimmed; he looks at me and says with such sadness in his voice that I never forgot: you lie like all the others...
